With this color study I really tried pushing the colors and brush strokes to create a more painterly and designed feel. Unfortunately the quality of the image, most of all that of the edges, is diminished when downloaded.
Just Got a part time job teaching figure drawing 131 at BYU for animation students! I'm pretty excited to be back at the HFAC! It feels like being back home.
So here's assignment #2 from Jake. He asked me to design an old crumbled stone wall and then flesh it out in Maya. I've started modeling it, and the final textured and lit 3D piece should be done hopefully this week:)
This is my first attempt at uv mapping and texturing. I tried to make the model somewhat low poly. Jake made this first assignment very simple. The next which will be done in a week will be a little more complicated. Baby Steps...
