Ghosts in the Darkness...SCARY!! This was another value/arcitectual study. I played around with the atmospheric perspective and the overall mood by darkening and boosting the contrast considerably to get that eerie feeling seen in some of those late 19th century landscapes done in black and white. Here's two variations and a colorversion in progress let me know which one you like better

  1. Definitely captured that eerie feel. My favorite's the top one--nice contrast.

  2. I'm telling you, stop now or sleep in an eternal watery grave. Cement shoes and everything. Not even joking. AAAARRGGGHHHH. This is great, Josh. I'm thinking I need an internship.....

  3. WOW! Great job, Josh!
I agree with Anthony -- the first one feels the most ominous.
