Something A Little Scary


Another out of my head painting.  I tried doing this without looking at any reference to get the creative juices flowing.  Next post will hopefully be the textured wall I promised a few posts back, and after that perhaps something a little more fluffy and cute.

Just  Got a part time job teaching figure drawing 131 at BYU for animation students!  I'm pretty excited to be back at the HFAC!  It feels like being back home.

Sandstone Wall Concept For The Next 3D Project

So here's assignment #2 from Jake.  He asked me to design an old crumbled stone wall and then flesh it out in Maya.  I've started modeling it, and the final textured and lit 3D piece should be done hopefully this week:)

Exploring 3D





This is my first attempt at uv mapping and texturing.  I tried to make the model somewhat low poly.   Jake made this first assignment very simple. The next which will be done in a week will be a little more complicated.  Baby Steps...

Senior BFA Show











My BFA Final show is up! It's on the 5th floor of the HFAC in front of the Dean's office if you want to see it! I believe the reception will be the 12th of this month, you should come, there will be music, refreshments, and more! Anyway I'll be posting the rest of it soon. Hope you enjoy!
